You'll step back in time when you visit Bessie's- a hidden gem in the Gwaun Valley. Grab a spot in Bessie's front room and be served by the lady herself- the landlady for over 60 years. Beer is served in jugs through a wooden, sliding hatch. You'll feel a million miles away from anywhere until you look on the walls and see an impressive collection of worldwide currency  from far flung customers.

The nearest shop is in the village of Maenclochog- a great place to get all of your basics for camp. It has a post office too.

The Dru is set beautifully set on the coastal path overlooking Druidstone beach. A perfect spot for a pint or a meal to watch the sunset.
